Lisa Eaton is an award-winning director and choreographer with a career spanning over 30 years at the intersection of dance, film, and live production. A graduate of LMU and the Edge PAC scholarship program, Lisa has cultivated a career defined by her unique ability to translate human essence into visceral, movement-based art.

Beginning her career as a professional dancer in Los Angeles, Lisa appeared in iconic films such as The Big Lebowski, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Muppets, and Dream Girls. Her transition behind the camera has been equally distinguished. She is the developer of a signature method for "shooting dance as a language," an approach that has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2025 Creative Vision Award from the LA Dance Film Fest and Best Dance Film at the 2024 Wyoming Film Festival.

Lisa’s creative footprint extends across commercial and live entertainment landscapes:

Commercials & Music Videos: She has choreographed for global brands including Target, L’Oreal, and Toyota, and directed or choreographed music videos for artists such as Lana Del Rey, GHOST, Maroon 5, Depeche Mode, Emmy Meli, and Pussy Riot.

Live Production: As the creator of the stage show The Rouge Follies, Lisa has successfully managed large-scale productions in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, serving as director, sound editor, lighting designer, and choreographer for casts of over 40 dancers.

Innovation: Pushing the boundaries of the medium, she created an aerial adjacent apparatus designed to expand the movement repertoire of dancers and schools worldwide.

Whether humanizing a brand or directing a cinematic narrative, Lisa’s work unifies audiences around universal themes, transforming commercial content and live events into profound artistic experiences.

7, a DREAMSCAPE workshop to performance series:

Grounded in Carl Jung’s collective unconscious and the theme of the seven deadly sins, 7 a Dreamscape: FORBIDDEN is an immersive workshop-to-performance series designed to push artistic boundaries through deep, character-driven work. Led by industry veterans Lisa Eaton and Ayesha Orange alongside choreographers, Augustine Perez, Camila Arana, Victoria Walls, this creative vehicle guides artists through fearless explorations of pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth to unlock hidden potential in a safe, collaborative environment. The journey culminates in a multidisciplinary show at the iconic Harvelle’s Santa Monica—incorporating dance, aerial arts, singing, and acting within a surreal dream state overseen by Ross Steeves as Dr. Jung—offering performers a rare platform to transform raw human emotion into art that genuinely connects.
